Johnny Summerfield - Publisher

Johnny Summerfield has a BA in English from Florida and an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College, Plainfield, VT. He is Asst. Professor of Basic Studies Writing at Columbus State University. His research interests are Developmental Education, Italian Film, Sicilian culture, material culture, dream psychology, Vanderbilt Agrarians, Wendell Berry, and Christian parables.
He is co-author of Remembering Sicily (Ricordando la Sicilia). He is also co-author of Table Five (an experimental novel), forthcoming from Negative Capability Press, Mobile, AL.
Julia Bouwsma - Editor (Poetry)

Julia Bouwsma holds a BA in English Literature from Swarthmore College and an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College. Her poems and reviews have appeared in, or are forthcoming from, such publications as Colorado Review, Cutthroat, The Progressive, Sugar House Review, and Quay. A former Managing Editor for Alice James Books, Julia brings a wide range of publishing and editorial skills to the job. She is currently a self-employed writer, editor, and farmer living in the mountains of western Maine.
Bev Harvey - Editor (Non-Fiction)
Beverly Harvey has an MA in Journalism from the University of Georgia. She has been an award-winning reporter for many papers, and is currently writing for Toot Your Horn. Beverly is always praised for her attention to detail in research and was praised for being one of the best RAs the University of Alabama Journalism Department ever employed.
Jess Knox - Asst. Editor (Fiction)

Jess Knox graduated from the University of California with a BFA in Writing for Screen and Television. She has been published in four Chicken Soup for the Soul anthologies: Family Matters, Thanks Dad, The Gift of Christmas, and The Cancer Book: 101 Stories of Courage, Support, and Love. She keeps a weekly (ish) op-ed style blog at www.jessknox.com, and is currently the VP of Publicity at Omnipop Talent Group in Los Angeles, CA.
Maggie Abeyta, Asst. Editor (Poetry)
Maggie Abeyta graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BA in English as well as Women and Gender Studies. She then went on to attend the Denver Publishing Institute where she earned a certificate in Publishing. This overbearing love of books gets satisfied with her work as a Book Associate at Hastings Entertainment.
