In the ten (10) day program, there are 3 excursions: Taormina (Taobuk Fest), Caltagirone (production center of pottery, particularly maiolica and terra-cotta), and several sites of Catania (home of Vincenzo Bellini, Museum of Fashion, and Acitrezza, location of Luchino Visconti's La terra trema).  Participants will attend seminars and presentations led by professionals in the fine arts, film, music, and literature fields. Seminars will be held in the Monastero dei Benedettini, one of the largest monasteries in Europe and a Unesco World Heritage site. The monastery was built in 1558, and today it hosts the Department of Humanities of the University of Catania. It is sure to be a great adventure.
